I’m a 50 cent millionaire!

The vacation is over! My card access is in place and I’m back on the air. It was an odd show because I had all the same cds that I used for my coverage of the squidpod show two weeks ago. Yet I probably only played half of the cds. I found the other sources of music via a combination of rivendell and youtube. I even play Just Because from Jane’s Addiction. Truly a great song. I’ve posted that below. 50 cent millionaire is a line from the AC/DC song Down Payment Blues. Great reference to the illusion of the money rock stars supposedly make. I’ve been writing a lot of metal entries and I wanted to back away from that. Maybe in another few weeks I’ll play a metal show. Anyway, the show list is below. I do plan to play an all women’s show soon.

Red Hot Chili Peppers “Warped”
Janes Addiction “Just because”
Letters to Cleo “Here & Now”
Veruca Salt “It’s Holy”
Tracy Bonham “The one”
Garbage “Stupid Girl”

The Damned “Plan 9 Channel 7”
Queens of the Stone Age “Go with the Flow”
Foo Fighters “Times Like These”
The Vines “Autumn Shade”

Sugar “Your Favorite Thing”
Pixies “Trompe le Monde”
The Breeders “Cannonball”
Devo “Beautiful World”
X “Burning House of Love”

Aerosmith “Combination”
Def Leppard “Let It Go”
Thin Lizzy “The Cowboy Song”

2015 – Year of the Bon?

Apparently there will be a documentary about Bon Scott due out in the upcoming year. I’ve always liked Bon and much more than Brian Johnson. The early AC/DC albums should be a staple in your collection. There is an extensive interview will the creators of this film and you can find that here – BON SCOTT BIOPIC Bon certainly lived the rock n roll “lifestyle” and it should be entertaining.
