Just another day in Stumptown!

What does that mean? I don’t know. Today is Saturday which means we had another show this morning. We kept it freeform, meaning no real theme. Next week we will feature music from 1968. The short of it, 1968 may have been one of the greatest for rock n roll music. Look for more soon. I had a few threads running today. I kicked off the show with Buffalo Springfield which had one of those obscure musicians, Neil Young. More on the band at a later date. That was followed up by the Byrds which was fronted by an even more obscure David Crosby and then finally wrapped it up by going full Neil Young. Looking down the list you’ll also see Porno for Pyros with Perry Ferrell on vocals, followed by the red hot chilli peppers which had Dave Narvarro on guitar and then wrapped it up with Jane’s addiction! So there you are two threads. As for Stumptown? I quit coffee early this year but when I was drinking I went to a small coffee shop in Portland Oregon called Stumptown Coffee, simply the best coffee I have ever had. You have to love their motto “Only crappy people drink our brown fluid”!
